Intensive Intermediate A class students are expected to handle basic English phrases and begin to be conversational on unexpected topics.

Intensive Intermediate B

Intensive Intermediate B class students are expected to handle basic English phrases and conversations. They are excited to continue expanding their vocabulary and conversational skills.

English Courses

We offer English courses for all levels of English speakers. From learning how to say "hello!" to explaining the minute details of your PhD experience in your next job interview. ​

Our online group Zoom classes are open to any student who has been properly assessed. These classes are less regular in the summer as our volunteers travel.

1. Please tell us about yourself and your goals in our intake form. This form will help us determine what assessment you'll need.

​

2. Register for your language assessment by emailing liz@clctnedu.org. Everyone who comes to the CLC receives an assessment to help with their goal. After the assessment, we will review the results and a plan.

​

3. Additional, teacher-led classes will become available soon for a semester fee, based on a sliding scale of family income. For now, volunteer-led classes are included in the $26 registration fee.

Registration Fee for Adult Learners

All adult learners pay a $26 assessment as a commitment to the program. There are additional fees for the classes, books, and individual support, based on a sliding scale of income.
