Family Literacy

Literacy Changes Lives

The ability to read, write, and speak English allows individuals to unlock a world of possibilities. Increasing literacy skills vastly improves a child's success in succeeding in school, boosts self-esteem,  improves health disparities, opens doors to further education, strengthens civic engagement, and offers opportunities for increased income.

We provide a nurturing environment that empowers our students to reach their educational goals.

English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)

We educate adult learners who are not native English speakers through our small group workshops, conversation classes, Intensive Summer English Program, and one-on-one tutoring.

Structured Reading Intervention NEW!

We used structured reading intervention with trained professionals to help struggling readers in 4th-8th grade. We use programs Really Great Reading and Wilson, backed by the Science of Reading, to build reading skills.

Family Literacy NEW!

Adults who read fluently have children who read fluently. We have programming and support to continue learning as a family to build knowledge together.
